Hello all, first post here  My SL wife and I have all the checkboxes checked to allow each other to edit each others' stuff. Recently however, that functionality went away. When I click edit on one of her things, the entire box is greyed out. Before this happened, we were able to move, modify, retexture, all that to each other's stuff. Is this some known bug that has recently surfaced? Thanks for any help Malachi |

Hmm..I haven't noticed that problem.
Now, sometimes when selecting something to edit that is not mine, when the build box displays, the selection is lost, and I have to click on the item again.
But once the item is highlighted, I haven't had any problems editing stuff owned by people who have granted me permission.
Can your partner edit that item?

There is a choice on the Tools menu for "edit only my items". Is that checked? If it is, you get the symptoms you report.

Did your partner lock the objects? You can't edit someone else's objects if they are locked.

Make sure the item is modifiable. I spent a bit as Trill trying to mod something that Raudf owned.. only to realize that Raudf didn't have mod rights to the item either! >.<

OK, found the culprit. In one of the menus, SELECT ONLY MY ITEMS was checked. Unchecked it, and problem was solved!
