Could anyone please give me any tips on how I can make Midday brighter? Working with any dark textures is almost impossible. Windlight is nice, but it really made it darker and harder to work on things. Thanks

you can drop by my place and pick up the notecard that will take you step by step in setting up a custom environment light setting

(If I were logged in I would drop it on you, but not logged in at the moment)

Ironically, midday IS darker. The light is coming down from the zenith and only lighting the tops of objects. Typically, for building you are looking at your objects from the side.

Try opening the environmental editor and experiement with the slider for the sun position until you get better lighting for your build.

Putting up a "worklight" also helps.

Rez a cube, go into features, and click on light.

Increase the ambient light in the advanced sky editor, lighting tab.
