What's up with that shi*t?

- My account is "age verified", my wife isn't.
- On the website it looks like i'm not (instead of the green "you are already verified" i get the form)
- When I set a piece of land to "allow age verified adults only", both me and my wife can go there.

I'd say that old aristotle "verification" is 350% broken right now.

I noticed this the other day too - there's a thread around here someplace. Seems to have happened for everyone, but it hasn't actually affected our in-world age verification status. Not sure what it is. There are some trouble tickets in, so we'll see.

from my experiments it looks more like that in-world the "age verification" had no effect whatsoever anyways, since anyone can go to a parcel that has "age vrified adults only" access limitations...

It always has been broken, it varies from no one in a whole country being able to verify to being able to verify with imaginary names and drivers licence numbers and any address from the phone book in other countries.

I believe I have now had my age-verified problems sorted out by LL Support.

To recap: I was age-verified manually (sent scans of my passport, utility bills etc to LL) as the Aristotle system could not verify me. Got an email from LL support saying I was now Age-Verified.

However, I was still unable to visit a sim where age-verification had been turned on in every parcel, via the About Land, Access tab, Allow Public Access (checked) and Limit Access to those who are Age Verified (checked).

I tried several other sims where the same settings were in place.

So, I reopened the ticket, gave LL a list of the sims I had tried, and failed to gain access to, and yesterday I received a support email saying that they think they have now fixed this for me, and asking that I retry.

Yesterday evening I was able to gain access to all the sims/parcels that I was unsuccessful in visiting previously.

I would like, if anyone has such a parcel set up this way, to try visiting those also, in case it has only been fixed for the list I gave.

Yeah, they seem to have done that for everyone, but I guess it's Ok just as long as they haven't gone and lost track of who got verified already.

Other access controls like allowed group members will override the verified check. Does one of those apply?

the land in question is public, except for one person on the ban list.
and from previous stupid incidents i know that being a member of the group that owns the land does not protect you from being aristotle-kicked 0_o
