Try to go to Sacred Heart sim, that is mine and my partner's sim. Hardly anyone there. See if you get orbited from there. I'm at work, otherwise I would be there to greet you.

Maybe you are wearing something that is causing the problem. Try logging into a non-script region.

Asking knowledgeable people on the forums: What about using some of the additions to the login target like -purge -- would that possibly help the OP get in to allow detaching of everything?

Stuck in one spot..only water to see

I'm not sure if this is the same problem, but recently whenever I logged in I'd end up at the coordinates 10,10...no matter what Sim I tried to log into. This went on for over 2 weeks and I couldn't figure out any fix and I hadn't changed any settings. I finally fixed it by downloading and using the Release Cadidate version of the viewer. It's been working perfectly and I'm "back!"... Hope this suggestion might help anyone with a similar problem.

Are you able to do a Detach All?

Just a shot in the dark but maybe check Banlink? You might be banned from the region and not know it.

You should close the viewer, and log back in to your home location. Or any region that is empty and quiet.
If you still orbit then you might have a weird problem I don't know about. yesterday SL worked fine. Little lag, but it worked.

Detach All...Everything

Sometimes this helps...take off and/or detach everything. Sometimes it helps. Might be a lil cold tho.

deteching everything does sound like a good sugestion, everything points to a scripted item you are wearing, if you remember what new hud or attachemnt you put on just before it started happening that would be a good thing to start with, something you are wearing can orbit you without even having to rezz anything and even keep orbiting when you go over no script areas becouse script functions that are active already like moving to a point will stay active nomatter the availabilitie of scripts. a script to do that would only take about 7 lines of code if written cleanly.
