A friend of mine bought an estate, and for one reason or another, wants to back out of the sale. I believe he just bought it yesterday or today. Can someone offer him advice on the easiest/ quickest way to get out of it? He asked me since I'm his landlord and an estate owner. But I haven't the slightest idea since I've never been in this situation.
Can he just cancel it outright with LL without having to try to transfer it to someone?
And this really is "a friend" and not me! I'm not unloading anything!!
Thanks for any help, --Avion

if you are the estate owner, and landlord, why can't you simply refund him and put it back up for lease?

tell him to contact SL, he might end up not getting a refund or he might... only they know for sure
that is assuming he bought it direct from SL and it is not a second hand sim

From: 3Ring Binder if you are the estate owner, and landlord, why can't you simply refund him and put it back up for lease? If you re read it implies this is independent of Avion.

I'm pretty sure there is a 30 day return policy, but there may be some restocking fees. Have them contact concierge.

Okay thanks very much for the advice, everyone -- Will he be concierge level immediately, before the island is delivered? I don't believe he has any other land holdings. I'll have him go try to log into it now.
And yes 3 Ring he rents a house from me on my Patria estate, but I don't have anything to do with his estate purchase.
Thanks again! --Avion

Did he buy it from LL or a private party? I thought the new "improved" land store was supposed to be instant delivery.

I had my land store sim purchase within 15 minutes. The one I bought privately took a full week.
