I log in...

Oh wait, it crashes during the login sequence and I have to try again, only when I try again, it just tells me that my account will be available at some certain time in the future (I've crashed and tried to log back in enough times to know that this actually means that my avatar was still in world, and it gets logged out when I try to log back in...)

Okay, so I resize my SL window so it's small, so it won't crash on login (yes, it works).

So I decide to teleport to some club I occasionally go to... only one person is there, so I ctrl-shift-H back home, only upon arriving at my land, all my attachments go to a single point inside of me. How annoying.

So I go to right click on my avatar folder to detach all my items, but since SL is retarded, I have to click away from that folder, and then RE-right click on it to get the "detach objects" and related options to even appear in the dropdown menu. By memory, I put the cursor right where the "detach objects" option should be, but since SL is retarded, it has again randomly re-arranged half of the options in this menu, so I have to find the option again (not exactly difficult, but still mildly annoying, if momentarily).

OKAY, so I have myself attached to myself again, and I go to a different club.

After waiting a bit for stuff to rez, I begin to converse and such, and then someone says something about "ctrl-q being better", so I try it and get logged off, because I'm a dumbass. xD

So upon logging back in, I go into the Client menu to "disable camera constraints" and to "view look at", only I can't, I CAN NOT get into Client -> Character. First off, the "Character" submenu is dislocated, it's at the bottom of the Client menu. 2nd, it simply will NOT expand, no matter how many times I click on it, the hotkey (if there was one) doesn't work, the keyboard won't make it expand, I simply can not get into it.

SO I try to drag the "Character" submenu to it's proper location, that just doesn't do anything (not supposed to, actually). I tried moving the line that seperates one part of the Client menu from another part (and strangely, there are 2 lines right on top of each other), and SL opens up a save-file dialogue box, like I was saving a snapshot to disk or something. I tried it again, same result. I clicked on the space between the two lines I mentioned a bit ago, and SL VANISHES. No warning, no sound, no "SL seems to have crashed, would you like to send an error report?", NOTHING. It's just GONE. And I have to log in again three times before I can log in again (First time to make my in-world avatar log out, 2nd time it gets stuck, 3rd time's the charm).

So it happens again shortly thereafter, SL just VANISHES when trying to mess with that spot in the Client menu. How annoying!

So I log back in, forget about the Character menu, TP to my place... then TP back to the first club, and I walk into the club, heading towards the middle of it, and lo' and behold, I get a "2nd teleport" bug, and upon cancelling it, now my avatar is STUCK walking in the direction I was walking, completely unresponsive to keyboard controls, can't teleport.

I finally decided "screw it" and came here to complain about all this in an attempt to make myself feel a little better.

Sorry about your problems.

Sometimes it just seems like there are gremlins running around inside LL's systems. We all have a day when nothing works like it should. I do the old routine of Clearing Cache, logoff and come back in after a few minutes. I'll check to see how many residents are currently online before trying to come back in.When LL is able to replace all of the old servers with the brand spankin' new ones, such problems like yours will hopefully become more rare. And some sims are pushing the limits of prims and scripts running.

Charmande, how long have you been trouble free before this and have you done anything around this time, update, upgrade, whatever?
What hardware specs are you running like RAM? Are you running the latest driver for your graphics for instance?
I know SL has been cranky lately (surprise!) but yours sound specifically due to something and by the menu misbehaving I don't think it's just lag.

Yep I hate this, it's just so hard to find other people now the grid is so big................
