What's up with the Beta Grid

So is it just me or is the Beta Grid down indefinitely ... Everytime I try to log into the Beta Grid for the past.. at least week it is down. Says closed for maintenance and log ins are restricted to lindens. I have logged onto the Beta grid many times in the past year, no problem... So what is going on? Are they taking the Beta grid away? Only reason I care is this is where I make/ try my clothing before uploading to the main grid... totally sucks cause I'm wasting upload fees if the clothes aren't perfect...

I don't see anything that they are blogging about this and they are not announcing in any way that the Beta Grid is unavailable. At least not that I could find. Of course I have tried contacting them, filed a ticket everything you can imagine but they don't respond..

Anyways, any info on what's going on would be appreciated!!

I make clothes too and I can save myself hundreds of L$ if I can test out the first 20 or 30 versions of each texture in beta! (It takes me a while to get them right.) I hope it is going to be back up soon.

In another thread on this topic, a resident states that the Beta Grid will be available Thursday barring technical problems.

Last weekend, the blog mentioned a maintenance schedule and that the Beta Grid would be unavailable for a few hours. I was unable to login to the Beta Grid before or after the maintenance work. Other residents have reported the same. Nothing further has been posted on the blog since the September 16 statement:

"[UPDATE] 1:23 AM PDT 09/16/07] The maintenance work...has concluded. All affected hardware is back in service and hosting regions again."

Why doesn't LL tell us what's going on with the beta grid? Communication does not seem to be a high priority with the Lindens.
