avatar clothing problems

Hi all,ive got a problem when wearing clothes,with shorts on i get 2 white rings on my lower legs,when wearing jeans they wear to my toes,longer shorts make lumps on my ankles,wear nothing and im ok,i have tried alot of things to fix,but no luck so far,cheers

Do you have an nVidia card? The most recent drivers seem to be causing SL clothing issues, so you may want to try rolling them back if you do use that type of card.

I got my driver version 175 for Vista here:

It seems to have solved the problem for me. Mine was doing the same thing and I very nearly decided to just quit for a while. There were a couple of threads about this issue, now lost several pages in the past, where some kind folks rescued the situation.
