What is your experience with waves on a low prim sim? Which ones are OK, which ones to stay away from?

I have used these 2 different waves in my open space home:
1) Mathieu Basiat's Smartwaves are great and change with time of day, but are primy. Never had any problems. 2) sweety Enzo's Sculpted waves. There are several types to choose from, one is one prim. Very realistic effect. No problems to report.
