Ok this has been puzzling me for weeks now. None of my non flexi shirts will rezz. When I attempte to wear one a grey outline appears momentarely then dissapears and no skirt. This happens with old inventory that I have used sucessfuly before and with new inventory as well. Making a fair percentage of my wardrobe anavailable for use :(.
I have tried changing in differet sims so it's not the location I am in. I posted a ticket about it a couple of days ago but as yet no reply. I have done the usual cleared cache, I even uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Is any one else aware of this problem or is it just me?

If you search in this forum you will find a thread related to that- but the work around was found to be repeated rebaking of textures. Eventually it catches on.

and according to the lindens it is not a bug, but a network issue (meaning we are lagging I guess)

[13:03] Zen Linden: Invisible skirts were not a rendering issue, unfortunately, it appeared to be a networking issues
[13:03] Zen Linden: I was able to occasionally repro it under heavy packet loss conditions
[13:03] Zen Linden: on both the viewer before and windlight
[13:05] Zen Linden: if you're on a connection with a lot of packet loss (i.e. information not getting to and from the server), you may see this much more often
[13:06] Zen Linden: like on a wireless laptop far from the router

That suggestion about it being strictly a network issue is pure bull.

Hardwired 100 Megabit connection from my router, and the fastest cable modem connection available in my town on a high end Mac with a high end video card, and it STILL happened to me!

It's asset related, because the same skirt can work FINE for one alt and not for another, on the same computer at the same time.

Nah, this has been happening since December 07. I don't know that it really is network issues, my husband and I share a 1.5 mbps connection and I don't get the bug anymore, but I did get it when we had an 8 mbps connection. No changes to my computer or video card or anything else, just the connection speed and location have changed, to a slower connection. Go figure.

Definitely talking bollocks.

Skirt appear while in appearance mode and then disappear again coming out of it.

I crash if I try to go into appearance editing while wearing a skirt. (V.1.2.3...omg i can count!)

I agree I think it is a bug and not network related

however I put the info there from the meeting, so folks will know what to expect if they decide to try to get linden help

Definitely not a network problem. I am using the same network as when it was working as i am now and it seems to hav happened to me anyway since the last new download that I was required to make...............................................

Oh - I thought it was just me....nothing's more embarassing than getting dressed for a formal ball quickly, then teleporting there to find your bare "ass"ets hanging out for all to see!
