I plan to buy a laptop. I know PC is better.I am so mess.

Please,give me suggestion which laptop is much better to run SL.

Dell XPS1530,Dell Vostro 1500 or Dell Vostro 1700.I prefer XP but these laptops are with Vista-no choice. I can spend $1500-1800.

My configuration will be almost the same:

What about Dell Inspiron 1520 and1521? They come with XP.
This week I need to buy a laptop for sure.

The key elements are

the graphics card (256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT should be very good)
main memory ( 2GB is fine)
the speed of your network connection

DSL/Fibre/Cable are usually considered sufficient, but better is still better.

I recently got a new Dell laptop and it's running SL in Windlight just great. I got the 1520 so I could stay with XP. It priced out at $1300 but I found a coupon online and saved $300.
