Looking for Good Basic Scripts

I've been looking to buy/acquire some good basic scripts. By that I mean 'rotate/spin, linear movement (and back again), pendulum/swing' and other stuff like that. I've got rotation and spinning cracked and swinging if I play around with it will probably work the way I want it to eventually. Linear motion however..the simple forward and back movement (preferably repeating)..well this one's got me stumped. I do have a movement script that does move object from a to b, but unfortunately it rotates my prim about 90 degrees before it does it.

I don't know how many 'Mega/Bargain/Super' Script packs I've bought..all with some pretty impressive stuff, if you want to illuminate your face or have an object give off green glowing 'stuff' or maybe even have flowing undulating textures (pretty handy for water effects that one). Not one has a selection of Basic Prim Movements.

Now I know your going to say.."Why not write them yourself"..well I read the guide to Linden Script Writing..and that's all I need to say to explain why I'll buy them instead.

So; anybody got any ideas where I can get my hands on the basic scripts..?

Search thru the Scripting Library and Scripting Tips forums, they are chock full of really good stuff, and sometimes you can even get someone to point you to the thread containing the script you are looking for. Sometimes, if you appeal to their stunning good looks and amazing scripting kung foo, you can even get someone to write you up a simple script.

When I can't find a script I want in the forums or in the script libraries, I have a tendency to freebie hunt for things that do something that I want to have my object do and then see if the script inside it is MOD. I can't script to save my life but I've grown pretty good at being able to mod a script to do what I want it to do... usually

Get the freebie packs from NCI. go to Kuula.

I've been trying that, I'm getting pretty good at delving into the script and by trial and error get it to do what I want. I've also been over to NCI and cleaned them out, but what I got was pretty much what I payed for in SLEx (though the packs weren't to pricey). I might try modifying a sliding door script and see how that goes, though I find it amazing there isn't a basic move from A to B script in one of those boxes.
