When can I buy Adult rated land then?

I want to start a adult strip club and dont want to waste my time on a mature land if its not going to be anygood.

Where or when can i buy this property?

I don't think they have worked out the details on the new continent yet.

If you want to get started right now, you may have to buy your own island. Unless you're willing to move your club in a few months. (Or possibly never - who knows really?)

As the others have said, the new adult rated land doesn't exist yet. As of now, LL has claimed they will move people for free from Mature land to Adult land, though they haven't been clear about the details of this yet, or if anyone can choose to moved or you have to be designated as mature ENOUGH to get the free move. You could start now, and then apply for the move, but what will happen next remains uncertain.

Probably the best plan is to wait another month or so to see what the changes will be.

I plan on asking to move... just because well if its free new land to play in .. I only sell sex gen in a vendor as an affiliate the rest is live music and fishing .. if the grids combine I will then look at setting up a PG area .. I want my freedom for now the only reson I bought mature is so I could sell use play goof off the way I wanted!

Linden Lab have no clue whatsoever on how to handle this issue, so expect the unexpected. As this is a PG forum I'll merely say that they couldn't run a knees up in a brewery.

If the adult continent doesn't look like a penis on the big map I'm going to be disappointed.

Well, in RL adults and minors can't really "live" together unless they are members of the same family.

No firm detail have been released yet. It's still in the "drop the bomb" phase.

You have 3 options, as I see it.

1. Go ahead and open your club on a mainland mature sim, with the knowledge that you could be moving in the near future. LL has said that the move will be free, so you shouldn't take a financial hit. The worst that can happen is you don't like your new parcel, and all of your LMs and profile picks just broke.

2. Go to a private estate sim. Either purchase your own, or work with an estate owner who plans to flag the sim Adult when that option becomes available. This should have minimal impact on you, as the sim owner can flip the flag with the time comes, and you don't have to do a thing.

3. Get your ducks in a row now, and be ready to hit the ground running when LL begins selling parcels on the new Adult continent to the general public. If you decide this, expect to pay a premium on any parcels at auction. I'm expecting the first parcels to reach auction prices similar to Bay City, and Nautilus.

Option 4. Set up the most Adult themed land you can, so it's definitely Adult content. Get the free move to the Adult Continent, stop the Adult theme and sell the land at a premium.

Option 5. Fight this decision to segregate the community.

I'll bet you any amount of money that the land swap that LL is talking about, would only apply to persons owning that land w/ adult content dated before the announcement was made

And what date would that be? and if that was the case, your kind of suggesting that maybe SL should say now, don't build any Adult Themed parcels on the mainland NOW (insert the end date) because we won't move you for free?

It does exist....its the "Ursula" continent for want of a better name......it's way way way out to the right of the Eastern Mainland continents. Type in "Ursula"in World Map, you'll see a number of sims already in place...my take its still under construction.....but its definitely there.

For the record work was started well before the Blog announcement too!
That's why i find thsoe 5 threads relating to "Adult content" a bit pointless...decision was already made! Maybe we provided a few more ideas so that can refine their policy change.

My take, is this could end up being premium priced land. I'm contemplating buying some cheap Mainland, have a shop full of penises....and then get transferred over to Adult Continent in a free swap.

I would imagine that is what they will do also if they haven't already had their BOTs visiting and gathering info as its obvious that people are going to try and get there just to try and flip the land. Maybe they will even put a buy back clause in it for the first so many months u can only sell back to LL

i would think they would have people exchange the land they had now to get a free move.. otherwise they would probably have to wait in line..i would think that people on a list that are being moved for free would come first and then the buyers get whats left..

land choppers would take advantage on the freebie if they let them keep their old land..
just drop some adult content on a bunch of little lots and you have a bunch of free new lots to sell off..
i just don't see LL doing it like that..
