Ok, so i tried Dazzler and was unimpressed. It looks like an interface that was in vogue 15 years ago, graphics are very basic. But, I'm not posting to complain, I'll just go back to Windlight. My question is: what exactly was the intent when they created Dazzler? Is it for lower-end PCs?

Dazzle... A first look of 'the new' bright and shiny UI... Ick (>_<

... Night time scenes are totally ruined by that neon nightmare. This nightstalker no likey! (>_<

/me really liked Dazzle but it seemed to eat a _lot_ more memory than the other viewers, even more than WindLight. So.. I switched to RC/WL and wait patiently for another Dazzle release.

I'm abivalent about the actual physical look of the thing, it doesn't matter much to me, but the color scheme is unusable to me. I can't look at it for more than a few minutes without getting groggy, the Interface gets totally lost.

The future is a main viewer with BOTH Windlight and Dazzle.

Windlight will provide the "physically accurate atmosphere rendering and lighting" in-world & Dazzle will be a better looking set of windows and menus.

These two projects have been available so far as separate test viewers but the aim is for both to end up being part of the main release client.

All well and good and I'm all for anything that may improve performance under the cover but, that Dazzle color scheme is just awful.

I really hope they at least allow us a choice of color schemes before they shove that one at us.

Dazzle does live up to it's name. Though maybe "Blind-o" would be more appropriate.

Its like the UI is trying to make itsef more important than the in-world content. At any time that is not full bright midday, the UI just TAKES OVER.

I am PRAYING that they include sliders for color/brightness and transparency so those of us whose eyes are annyingly "dazzled" byt the high brightness can tone it down to our liking
