It was time for me to move on from playing SL, so I went and cashed out 20,000L. Question is...uh where can I get the money for it?

Where did you cash them to?? Are they simply cashed and now sitting as USD in your SL account? Did you cash them out to your PayPal account? Go to your account page at www.secondlife.com. Next, click on Process Credit on the left hand side. There you will find a link to cash out to PayPal, as well as the balance you have available.

ive recently done the same thing, After you request to trans. to paypal, how long does it take for paypal to get it ? Been waiting 4 days now

5-10 days I believe, SL are quite stringent on security checks with paypal payments.

1 to 5 days, never longer than 5. Sometimes i have been lucky to get it into Paypal the following day.
