Avatar query

Hi,
How do i 'dress up' my avatar?
I right click , the circle come up, when i click on appearance it dissapears?

Click on inventory, (button on the bottom right of your SL viewer) and look through the folders for clothing. Click a folder to open it, right click on a clothing article (such as SHIRT) and select WEAR.

You can find additional clothing in your library too.

What you've described could be a glitch, but until you know the what and how, it might not be obvious to you.

When you edit Appearance as described, what *should* happen is that your avatar moves into a special pose (arms and legs loosely spread), an "Editing Appearance)" tag appears under your name over the avatar's head, and an "Appearance" window opens from which you can adjust the avatar's shape and modifiable textures (some skins and clothes), among other things, and the cam spins around to look at the front of the avatar.

I have seen a problem at some point where none of that happens, but I just can't remember the circumstances under which that problem occurred. So... is just nothing happening when you select Appearance?

If you're just looking to change clothing, the easiest way is to just open inventory down on the bottom right of your screen......you can search inventory using key words like 'shirt' or 'jeans' or whatever........when you find a clothing item, you right click and select wear.
Presto, you're getting dressed.

Now....something to remember about avatar clothing.....it is made in layers so that you can wear multiple items....like a jacket over a shirt......so when dressing, you have to pay attention to what 'layer' the item is. This helps you to know what items you can wear together or not. (if a shirt and a tank top are made as the same layer, you wont be able to wear them together)

I think we're all missing an important step here... first yoou need to get more clothes.
Some stuff is found in the "library" folder. open all the subfolders and look around.
