My friend canceled her account a few days ago, and now she regrets it and wants to re-instat it. She knows she has to pay the fee to get it back along with her stuff, but what she doesnt know is how to go about doing so. Does she have to call LL, or is there a link, or something that she needs to do. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks =)

The knowledge base's current blurb is:
From: someone

If you have cancelled your account, there is a chance that we may be able to restore it upon your request.

Depending on the length of time during which you account was cancelled, we may or may not be able to restore your account. Even if we are able to restore your account, there is a chance that the inventory, land, and/or L$ previously associated with your account may be unrecoverable. If your account can be successfully restored, we will charge you a US$9.95 reactivation fee.

To start the process, contact our Support team with your request.

Which means, go to secondlife.com/support, put an email address for the guest login thing at the bottom, start a ticket, pick the special questions category, and account issues for the topic beneath should cover it.

When I cancelled my account a few of months ago, all I had to do was go to the My account page and there was a link to resume it. I just chose which level I wanted and that was it, my credit card was charged $9.95. I was gone for 3 weeks, and when I logged in all my inventory was intact as if I never left. I think the message I got when cancelling was withinn 30 days and all your stuff would be there, within 60 days and you would have to start over inventory wise, and after 60 days you would have to create a totally new account.

I reinstated an account last week that I canceled about a month before. All I did was call the support line and request it be reinstated. The person asked me the answer to the challenge question I had set and the contact info for the account. I was on the phone for only abut 5 mins. I logged intot he account a few minutes later and everything was just as I had left it.
