Does anyone know if an object scripted to follow can cross sim lines or tp with someone when they are not wearing it or sitting on it?

I know it can't follow you through a teleport.. No idea about sim crossings.

However, this thread would probably find better answers in the "Scripting Tips" forum several levels down.

Yes an object can make a sim crossing all by itself but it cannot go through a tp.

A friend of mine bought one of those pet dogs that wanders around and at the time she lived with her BF on the mainland - well her dog would often wander too far away and she would find it many sims away sometimes and only then because it called home via IM with a location.
