Hey all i seem to have this problem with SL had it a long long time basically the problem is when i run in SL over uneven ground i tend to fall over, happens to everyone i know but for me its like every other step (like reliving new years again and again) which is becoming pretty annoying i don't even move right on flat land i tend to slingshot about like im hammering on the spacebar (which im not) ive made sure its not my AO and made sure to remove flight assist items even thought the amount of prims im wearing may be a factor put everything on full detail no detail changed the view distance and connection settings reinstalled the client and now im out of ideas so i put it to the rest of the world does anyone have any ideas that could help me? such as a checkbox labled "annoy you when you run" or a scripted item that simply stops you falling over? thankyou in advance to anyone that has an idea on how to stop this (im not sure this is even the correct forum section and ran a search to find if anyone else has this problem many results not a single one relevant lol)

I've never had a problem with falling over, nor has anyone I know.
I think it's a case of too much LDS in the Sixties.

The only time my av falls is if I drop her off of something very high in a laggy area. Or, you know, if she's had a scripted beverage. My suggestion would be to take off all of your attachments...AO, HUDs, hair, jewelry, shoes, everything. Run around, see what happens. If you stop falling, gradually add things back one at a time, until you figure out what's causing the issue.

From: George Standish LDS? Do you expect an LSD tune-in-turn-on-drop-out veteran to remember how to spell?

Maybe a blend of LSD and ADS? would also explain the falling over.... I can't remember my avatar EVER falling over, apart from falling out of the sky.

My guess is you have on a poorly done flight attachment or something else that might be making you go faster than you should... but I see you've already thought of that... But you know... I had a pair of glasses I wore for a really long time before I found out there was a gun script inside...

From: Hiam Mighty Stop drinking?? Too obvious? Mina Jun(k) has this lovely "drunk girl" skin that comes with a stumbling AO....it's really cute (if you never got drunk as a 16 year old girl yourself, that is...I was pretty *horrified* how much it looks like I did at the time...)

From: Har Fairweather Do you expect an LSD tune-in-turn-on-drop-out veteran to remember how to spell? Aww, isn't ANYONE here a Star Trek fan? Star Trek IV, The Voyage Home (or, Kirk Saves The Whales) The crew is back in 1980's earth in search of humpbacks. Kirk and Spock are on a bus. Spock's acting weird. To explain his behavior to the other passengers, Kirk says (unfamiliar with 20th century idioms), "Too much LDS in the Sixties".

I'm afraid I was too much a linguist at that moment...in my intro class tomorrow, we're actually DOING acronyms...
