Our group 'African Music and Dance' would like to buy or rent land to create a base for our (PG) activities. We exist to promote African music in any way we can. We are (so far) a small group, and we do *not* have a lot of money. We are non-commercial, and have no plans for any kind of revenue stream.
We have 512 sq m donated tier, so could buy 563 sq m on mainland.
We don't need much space, so 512 to 563 sq m would be adequate, though only just.
Any kind of residential, commercial or industrial setting would be appropriate, preferably urban -- but we *must* avoid areas that have been desecrated by ad-farmers and hideous builds (that is more important than anything else).
We would want to create a small bar with continuous music. We would expect to have occasional *small* events and parties. It would not be a club in the generally accepted sense.
Can anyone help or make suggestions?

Anyone with a un-used club willing to add a stream radio that this group could add their own urls and control the music on the parcel? The traffic generated from a live peformance group would be a fair barter for the land usage.

Caramba Vella our island could be very useful to you. Free land and tier are provided for projects that will generate traffic to the island. Basic land size is just over 2k meters and prim allowance is a minimum of 466 to use. We don't have space right now but will have end of January 2008, but people do come and go. Contact me in world.

Just think: no rent/low rent -- but no sleaze, no escorts, no campers, nothing to be ashamed of. Just great music and visitors with happy hearts. |

Check out the MUSIC sim, its for rent. Which in itself is very sad, because of the reasons behind it and because it was a lovely venue  but that's a whole sim though. Bit more than the OP is looking for me thinks._____________________

But we would take it on if it was rent-free! The sim as for rent as far as I know, so it wouldn't be rent-free. Hope you find somewhere! _____________________
