I have read through several hundred post titles and have not found an answer to this. When I try to get a collar from a vendor I keep getting this mesage.

What am I doing wrong?

What am I doing wrong? It may be that the store owners are the ones who are not doing it right. The script is checking to ensure that the group tag you are wearing matches the group tag of the group the prims which have been rezzed in-world are associated with. Here's where it gets tricky. Say the vendor is *intended* to make the items available only to members of the open collar group. So you activate that group tag. Only the person who rezzed it was wearing the group tag from Joe's BBQ and Laundromat at the time they rezzed it. Then the script will only allow people who are members of Joe's BBQ and Laundromat to get the collar, regardless of what the scripted text reads. So your best bet is to edit it, even though it's not yours, and check on the main tab to see what group it's actually associated with. That will determine the group tag you have to wear. If it's not the right group it would be a good idea to IM the owner. |
