ok, so I need to make a video of my friend but when I use my fraps, I capture everything on my screen, I dont so much care about name bubbles but I get my menus top bottom and also all my hud attachments....
How do I without all this , I realize I can detach my huds but... I still get the annoying group pop ups and ims coming in ....
Im not wanting to go pro with this just want to record my friends acomplishments.. And i just dont have the funds or time to get a video editing software...
appreciate any help you can offer.

And i just dont have the funds or time to get a video editing software... appreciate any help you can offer. ctrl alt f1 will hide your user interface alt shift h will toggle showing your huds I'm not sure but I think it's fraps where you can just select the portion of the screen you want to capture .. not sure though or maybe the pay version. _____________________

The capture program HyperCam does that..you can select a part of the screen to film; I don't think fraps can do that.

There is also a free video editing software that is mentioned in that tutorial. The free version of Frapps lets you record only 28-30 seconds at a time, the free editing software can let you add those videos together to create a much longer video. Also useful to convert the video to something much easier to pass around (like to youtube). Though the quality is much better before it is converted. _____________________
