Will an Openspace sim have a hard time with high prim avatars?
I just checked myself and right now from the neck up I am 937 prims worth of face piercings, glasses, and a necklace. If i count the rest of my accessories i am probably around 1100 prims.
Will i be bad for an Openspace sim?

That sounds bad for any sim. That is as many prims as an estate can hold. I think you are poking fun at the prim horses that run around on SL, and I actually wish SL had an avatar prim limit. been more then once I have shown up early to an event with no lag when I got there, but after a few woman showed up wearing a few hundred flexy prims in clothes and hair, watched the sim lag to the point of immobility, then hear them say, "I wish they would fix SL, every sim I go to just lags so badly".
My AV has 10 prims, 3 flexies.

My AV has 10 prims, 3 flexies. No i am not poking fun at prim horses...What prim horses? I disagree. My face does not create noticeable lag except for those on slow computers that zoom in on me. And an avatar prim limit would be....not good, and severely stifle creativity. Flexi prims are a different story altogether. Meet me inworld for a lag test if you like. My face has been over 400 prims since May 2004 - not counting necklaces and hair.

no she really is that primmy, with 200 prim chains and whatnot. i have suggested that she just texture a flexi but she wont have a bar of it. From: Manstan Beaumont That sounds bad for any sim. From: Briana Dawson Nooooooooooooo! In 2003 my first nose chain was a texture and a total of 3 prims i think...Just say NO to texture jewelry its not 03/04 anymore! I wish I could find more texture jewelry! I think it's amazing what jewelry creators today do with hundreds and hundreds of microprims - but I also think it's amazing what can be done and has been done with very few. One of the things I love about going through older freebies is the occasional discovery of something "low-tech" that may have been high-end when it was created. I have a 5-prim flexi hair in my inventory. Not nearly the level of detail as my "modern" do's, but - wow! Someone made a flexi hair out of 5 prims, I *think* right after flexis came out. (And it lets me attend crowded events in flexi hair without feeling too guilty about lag...) Somewhere - I'd have to go digging in my inventory - I have a 1- or 3-prim flexi skirt. There's no way it can compete with my umpteen-prim skirt-rezzer-made skirts for looks, but it's fascinating to me. (And in the back of my mind, I think, 'Well, the skirt rezzer just confused me, but even I could build something like this...') Sorry for the hijack...
