my annual premium comes up for renewal later this month. it would be more convenient if it occurred in the middle of the month instead of near the end.
does anyone know if this billing date can be changed?
i have searched the knowledge base and have found nothing.
i have also submitted a support ticket about it ... but my last ticket took 6 weeks for a response ... so i'm not expecting a timely response.
does anyone know how this can be done? of course, that implies that it CAN be done.

Possibly, you could downgrade to basic, then wait till the billing date you want, then upgrade to premium again. I *think* that would effectively change your billing date. Still, best to get official word from the Lindens if possible.
Edited to add -- if it is just a question of timing when the charge hits your CC or Paypal account, you can always just put the credit into your account on the day that suits you best. It will sit in the USD section of your account, and then the day LL wants to charge you, they will take the money out of the money you have on account.

unfortunately, i own 1/4 of a mainland sim and can't do that. also, if i reduce to basic and back to premium, my stipend will go from the L$500 it is now to the current L$300.
but thanks for the idea. it just won't work for me.

just saw your "edit" atashi:
this is exactly my question. i want the charge to hit my cc on the 15th rather than on the 25th.
what do you mean by "put the credit into your account" ?

On the "My Account" website, on the right-hand side there is a link "Increase your Credit".. it is under the "Linden Dollar" heading which is kind of misleading.
The "Increase your Credit" simply allows you to put US$ into your account. It has to be a minimum of US$25 but it can be anything beyond that. You just put in the amount you want and follow the on-screen instructions and they will charge your payment method and put that money in your account.
You can then use the money in your account to pay your tier, you can use it for Lindex purchases, anything really. The only thing you cannot do with US$ you have manually added this way, is cash it back out again.

I've often seen this US$ balance on 'my account' and wondered about this. Most interesting

it might be the ONLY way we can travel soon.
i see peaches is re-building and has put up ban lines. nothing but ban lines wherever we go.
unless you count the pass lines (what WAS he thinking?) on that partial 512 plot between mala and me.

They got a skybox and one of the allowed people spoke with me so neighbourhood not quite gone to the dogs I see what you mean about the little plot .. crazy LOL

Egon, Atashi's method is how I pay my tier - except that my USD is usually increased by sales on the LindeX. The suggestion to put money in on the day most appropriate to you is probably optimal.
