Help Trying to Create New Account

I tried to create a new basic account today. It accepted it, under a different email address that I have, however, the confirmation email has not been received yet. It is a Yahoo account that I used. Could this be the problem? I did a test email to make sure the account was working (I haven't used it in ages) and that isn't the problem.

Any ideas what might be going on?

I don't think you needed to use a different email; I have four avies all using the one address.
However ... one of my avies like yours, didn't generate the email despite the webpage informing me it did. This is the reason I have four and not three btw!
Give LL their due, I raised a ticket on this and they kicked my fourth avie online However, it did take them a while. Grrr!
Unless you picked a super duper cool name, I'd be tempted to just make another.

So, you can just use your original email address? With no payment for extras? That's pretty good. I guess I'll just go ahead and give the Avie a different last name. It was the first name that mattered more to me.

yup you can use the same personal info and email address for new accounts. Unless it's for a separate family member; I believe LL's policy is that is RL person has to have separate accounts, including personal info.

Original address no problem.
LL used to charge premium accounts for additional avies but for the present they are regarded entirely separate (despite perhaps sharing email address AND cc info LOL)
My first alt they accepted my $10 but my subsequent ones have been free gratis

I just did it, and got the confirmation and my original email. Thanks! I'm now a furry too
