piercings? how to attach?

hello, hope someone can help. i purchased a belly button piercing and nipple piercings but how do you attach them to yourself? sorry if this is dumb but i cant figure it out

you need to right click on them, then select EDIT. it will give you the option to move them around until they are positioned properly.

Normally, you just right click them in inventory and "wear" them. Or, you could double-click them and they will attach themselves.

Right click and choose "wear."This will place them where the designer set them to be. You may have to move them a little to get them to fit on your shape. Or if you want to place them on a different attachment point, right click and choose "attach" then choose the attachment point you want and move the item so it sits to your liking.

its not working...im so frustrated

If your shape is any fuller than that used by the designer when she was making them, you will probably find that right-click and wear will leave the piercings embedded inside you somewhere. What I do is this:

1) make a shape as thin as possible and wear it

2) get on a pose stand

3) right-click and wear the piercings

4) edit them to be a good distance away from your body

5) stay on the pose stand and change into your normal shape

6) edit the piercings back into position

When you do what has been described, do the items in your inventory show in bold, with "worn on ...)" after them?

yes, im a a little bigger than a normal avatar.......i have problems walking and flying let alone doing all that......boohoo im so sad

Then they are most likely buried inside your avatar, as spinster suggests.
