Use an online cash converter to work it out. You will also need it when buying L$ |

I'm english and have a premium account. We pay in US$ and not in sterling. The exchange rate varies, of course, but you should be able to find out how much it is roughly by doing what Windsweptgold suggested.
Just fill in your payment details (credit card) and LL will take the right amount. _____________________

Also don't forget VAT will be added and that your credit/debit card company will probably also charge a small currency conversion fee which may vary from company to company.
If you decide to pay quarterly or annually you can reduce LL's overall monthly charge and cut out a few conversions. I'm in UK and pay quarterly ($US 25.8 which in January was charged at £18.32 on my card, so approximately £6 per month for me atm. -- Aes |

As long as LL is linked to your Paypal, and Paypal has your bank info, you won't have to do anything else. Let Paypal worry about the exchange rates and else... LL will submit a charge to Paypal and Paypal will take the correct amount of L from your bank acct. depending on that day's exchange rate.

the only real reason to be motivated to spend your money on premium membership is so you can own mainland and not have to rent from someone else.
yes, right now we still get a stipend of L$300/weekly, which is really only financially beneficial if you sign on for the full year in advance. i am not certain they are still giving away the sign up bonus when you upgrade. _____________________

If you don't want land on mainland you can donate that tier to a group (which gets you way more kudos than you'd expect) or sell it to someone like Elanthius for a bit more cash.
You also need to be premium to get real tech support from Linden Labs. And while a lot of people bitch about the support being useless I haven't found that myself. Your mileage may vary. _____________________
