who is phillip Linden and what are all those ancient 3d models under the vcb land?

I was experimenting with a new bdsm weapon/toy and after I turned it on it chewed its way through the sandbox and disappeared.
Now its kinda nasty and I really wouldnt want it falling on my land; so I went looking for it. It took me about 20 minutes searching until I found it in the next sim (it can move on its own)
So - after retrieving it I look around and I see soem really old old freebie stuff, some of it laying about in shambles, yet orderly like a junk yard, dozens of cars and uncompelted vehicles, some still in wood form. Porcshes, vans, semi trucks. Some I have NEVER seen before.
THEN, suprise suprise I come across a MXX EHM 'ferrari knockoff' (I have one so I was interested) and looked it over. I inspected the CREATORSHIP and it was none other than a Philllip Linden.
Thats wierd I thought its the exact same car EHM motors sells by froegerHock (misspell?) the big car dealer and land trader.
This got me to looking at some of the other items and they were all owned,created by the bank of linden. I travel a bit farther and I come upon a open piece of land with the biggest house on it I ever saw. I got stopped by a invisble ban line, So i inspected it only to find out it had NO creator.
All in all it was a fun time exploring but the linden /ehm car link has me wondering if the two werent one and the same.

Phillip has a lot of full perm content around the grid. It's not that hard to get one of his prims. What would be more interesting is to see who owns it. That would be the person copybotting the cars. And yes, there are prims that have no creator. Also good when you want to make something and not leave a trace of who did it. |
