i know we have been warned that this may happen around this time so maybe i'm just being silly ;~}
what happens is i go to log on and it tells me that log on has failed and suggests i check to see if my tab lock is on, suggesting that my username and\or password is wrong
this has been the case for a few hour now
now, i have the "remember password" option set, so even though i'm sure i know my password, i can't be sure, so i went and tried to do a password reset. this is the brunt of my problem ;~}
i was asked my secuety question, which i answered, but then i was taken to an "error 401" or something like that, page which stated that the page i should have been looking at had been moved. i went back and did it again, and was just taken to the pain homepage of S
i thought maybe my new password would be sent by email. it wasn't so i went through the whole thing again. this time again, i was just taken straight to the SL home page
in the meantime i have received an inworld message from a SL group i have joined my email
so now i don't know whether or not SL is down or if it is just me, nor whether my password has been changed or now
i'm a little worried as i volunteers for an event that will be starting at midnight SL time, and i think they need all the paws they can get

The blog says logins may be affected for some residents at present - this is certainly the case for me!
Guess I'll just have to go to bed now and get some shut-eye..well, that sucks...

Hi fyph! welcome to the forums! Have you tried logging into a different region than usual? There are login problems right now into particular regions. I just logged into Insula Inferi West with no problem. Hahne is usually fine as well. Of course, now you will have to try each login attempt with both of the passwords, until one works
