Mapping Issues

Ok perhaps someone can enlighten me on this please. I allow my partner and vice versa to map me and see me on map but for some reason we are no longer able to do that. Did LL take that right away from us? I know that a couple of days ago I was able to. We find this is a lot easier as we own a large sim with sky mall and such and just as easy to map them and tp to each other that it is to use the teleporters or such.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

However, for mapping in the same sim, I strongly recomment using the Greenlife Emerald viewer. the radar build in that viewer lets you TP to anyone in the same sim. Tells you who comes and goes and you can eject, freeze, ban etc right from withing the radar.

I find it extremely usefull for sim and business managing.
Few handy things I would never want to miss again:

* Build in radar which makes any hud based radar obsolete.
* tp2cam <-- type that in chat and hit enter to let your avi go wherre your cam is.
* IM tabs: you often have a lot of IM's? Move those tabs to the side. Much easier!
* build in CryoLife detector! speaks for itself.
* More builders tools and more Prims to start with.
* Change starting prim size/texturwe/parameters etc.
* 13 Aditional skins.

And much more. But that radar...YOU NEED IT, lol

I love some of the features in Emerald too, but since I do art work (textures for skins, tattoos and fine arts) and have over 150 textures at my gallery I just can’t stand the slow texture rez’ing I get with it. And yes all my textures are 512X512 or smaller and they still load very slowly. If that was fixed I'd use it nearly all the time.

Interesting - I get faster rezzing of everything with Emerald. The only other viewer that even comes close for me in performance is the new LL Snowglobe.
