A malicious heart poofer object (Name: 'Ai')
did hit me 2008/11/13 SL time 17:00 (Chat clock)
on the open road in Sibine sim and followed / held me into Daphnis sim/region,
held me in the car (i couldn't fly or move free will) ,
did hinder IM and group communication with scripter group
and -i suspect this-
the system to send the abuse report.

After ~ 10 minutes in Daphnis the object disappeared after i did send IMs to
************** and *******************
and the failed ABUSE report (see data).
Maybe the scripts are just temporary, but this was VERY annoying and no joke to me
( and i have some experiences in secondlife with griefer objects or attacks )
and did leave me a real bad feeling about what is maybe possible in secondlife.

i tried this to send a 2nd time with my Onrez viewer, but this failed too.
Is there another way to send this report with the names
of the script creator and the 'user'
somewhere to Linden Lab?

I filed this one a while ago. Ekim Linden says that the abuse reports are being received even though you are getting this message. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1817 It has to do with your email provider using SPF to protect you from email spoofing. The sims spoof your email address but get tripped up by the SPF check.

It's the SPF settings on you email address domain.
I have this issue.
The sim that you are in generates an email and spoofs your address as sender. LL's mail system detects the forgery (that the LL system perpetrated !) and rejects the message.
Why don't they whitelist their own internal IP's?? Too much trouble for them.

It wasn't always that way. LL turned on SPF checking about a year-ish ago.

What I do now is the copy/paste the details from the bounced email and send that to the AR address.

I did report it to support and postmaster when it first happened, but ...... nada.

Isn't that about the size of it. You get abused and harassed and file an abuse report and then get harassed by LL with abusive account disabling lol

I hope in the original post you didnt give the abusers name in the post. that could lead to account suspensions.. But gees come on .

If the OP had named names, the mods would have locked it. Maybe, depending on which mod it was..

Sounds like they might have nailed you on filing a false report for the second one. That's the only thing I can think of, unless you orbited the other person in self defense?

Edit: Wait, isn't that the Fraud dept's number? Maybe they thought your account was hacked?

I doubt the report was false.
It has been going on in a lot of areas. traps being left at Info hubs and public works land. My wife ran into the same thing the other day at help Island. I Got redirected to in info hub and everyone was trapped and no one could communicate. i had to relog to get out of it

Luckily i did ****** the names from the beginning on, at least the thread was attended as a 'here is a problem, how can i send abuse reports, if it fails inworld with the viewer?',
combined with the question if 'scripted attacks' are taken 'serious' by the Lindens or if a user has to deal with that anyway...

Exactly my thought.
The moment i was virtually sort of 'caged' i did send a harsh IM to the owner of that attack object and not a 'why do you attack me, beautiful boy', of course - in a situation where you don't know if next pops up the yellow 'may i access to your money' requester 100 times or else.

I never did see a personal attack without any reason to do this to a passenger in mainland before, there's a japanese mall beside the road at Sibine sim and other japanese stores or things, so maybe the owner of the attack object was simply too §$%&# to take care of his malicious tool and left this there beside the road not knowing what he had done (but scripter and the owner of the 'Ai' object are WarGamers in SL, i checked their profiles) -
but in the moment it did happen to ME I didn't even know what this is, i first had to deal with the situation and there was no green dot around me on the minimap, no friends to talk to online in SL, i was simply on my own, not knowing what to do now.
Even a logout could have been a mistake, so i didn't logout and start to examine the object's data, the inner script's data and so on.
...and send the failed abuse report.
