Hi
Does anyone know of a shop wherin I might purchase avatars of a non-lifeform nature? Like a bycicle or a table or a hi-fi or a telephone.
Thanks in advance.

Try Yeti Bing and Yoa Ogee's store. I'm not inworld right now, so don't have the LM, but a search should pull the location up for you :)

They also have an end table, a grandfather clock, a old style phone, a saxophone, and a couple others that fit the bill, I believe.

What you may be looking for is a costume. You can even make these using prims which is a lot of fun. I'd recommend a store called Weird Shit. There's also a store in a sim called Rhetrology, and also search on costumes. These aren't avatars but they let you dress up as all kinds of unusual objects. I made several costumes for myself. It is not particularly difficult to do and a fun building project. The hard part is finding hte nerve to wear those things. Best of luck.

First time in there I nearly fell off my chair laughing at some of what's on the walls in that place. It's a lot of base humor and lowbrow stuff - but theres some seriously funny gems in there.

Yeti Bing and Yoa Ogee's store that was mentioned earlier has some really interesting of these types. Some are these small spherical, mechanical things that intermittently change shape. Hard to describe.

And then there are the little fishbowl avatars there that are really cute, but I didn't want to pay the price for them.

My partner and I purchased their "Be the Grid" avatars which are the human shape in grid form with a visible beating heart in the center. Looks especially strange in midnight setting.

You can also be Jello (with fruit) at Grendel's, and even add matching color dragon "fire" breath to your gelatiness if so desired, LOL
