Hi,
first off, I don't mind pick camping - adding a place to your profile picks and receiving a little reward from the shop owner - so I added several shops where I bought before or which I simply like.
But I ran into a problem: some time ago, I removed a shop which I didn't enjoy anymore. Now all other remaining places using the "In a moment, a blue box will pop up / Please identify the letters you see" system state the following when I click their sign, "According to our checks, you have been naughty and removed a Picks entry after adding it.". Why yes, one pick, but not theirs.
So, is that common practise?

Could there be a single provider managing the pick camping administration for the shops ... with a single naughty/nice list?

This is designed to stop people adding a pick, then removing it and adding another, it is a sort of networked system. I'm not sure what you can do about it as I don't know who controls the main system.

Well if its the same as the system I use, there indeed is a central database. What you describe would be a first warning. My system does that as far as I know if you listed more then 15 different businesses in 60 days. At 20 you are banned from the system.
So I guess nothing to worry about, if the system is anthing alike the one I use. After a set period your messages will disappear.

Thank you for the info Guess I need to pick up another one of the info notecards and check if it mentions anything about the central database.
