Hiya all,
First apologies if this question has been asked a million times already, I did a search but couldnt come up with any answers.
I would like to set some of the objects in my store to sell to a group only whilst the remaining objects would sell to anyone.
How would I go about it?
Thanks

Thanks You'd use pay vendors, that would check to see if the paying resident was a member of the group (The group has to be active). If they are a member of it, it would give the item. If they aren't a member, or don't have it active at the time, it would pay them back and let them know (Or not let them know, either way)

I set it uo with my hippovend...they wear their group tag...buy the item...and get a refund immediatly. I was tired of all the freeloaders taking my group incentive gifts...this works perfectly for me..my group get the gifts for 0 cost...freeloaders either a) have to pay 20L per item b) leave with no freebies c) join my group and swell my numbers so i can get better deals for the rest of the group.

Do you want all the proceeds to go to each member of the group? Say, example, you have a shirt. If you have 2 group members, you can share the shirt to the group, then deed it to the group. Every time someone buys that shirt, the proceeds will divide into the number of members in the group. e.g.
Shirt A costs L$100
Deed the shirt to group, which has 4 members.
Proceeds will go to each member, with L$25 going to each member.
Keep in mind that you can never have fewer than 2 members per group, so that the proceeds will get split in 2, no matter what happens.
Does this help?

oh AND....I do have a large sign that states all of this..so no one mistakenly buys something thinking its free for non group members

I just wanted really to know if I had to use a vendor or not and it looks like I do. Thank you very much for your reply tho Kind regards Natalie
