So I just got one of the 'Resident Opinion Survey' popups as I started up SL. It asked "is your second life experience getting better or worse?", followed by a text area of "Why?" to fill in.
So I checked "Worse" (although "About the Same" would have been a better option, had it been available...), and wanted to type in a line or two as to "Why?".
... and it wouldn't accept Text Input!
It would only accept the 'Next >>" button, so it could blurt out "We thank you for your time spent taking this survey."
It seemed so symptomatic of how the company is run.

When I got it there was no cursor but anything I typed appeared in the text box.

Ugh, I apologize for not responding quicker — I didn't know about how long this problem had been around, but we *are* aware and investigating further. I've also noticed Issue Tracker #s like https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-600 for it. Thanks for saying you've experienced this prob too.

Thanks much Torley! I appreciate it. They should add 'About the Same' to the survey - yes/no is too binary
