So iv been building and getting it ready but im having Second Thought's, For the fans out there of the Elder Scrolls-Oblivion, i was going to create a RP SIM Based on it And about it!!!
Iv got everything pretty much done i just need some more buildings and stuff, but like i said im having second thoughts...
PLEASE HELP

That would be cool. I liked the game back when I use to play it. The only concern I'd have is whether Bethesda would look kindly on someone using their franchise without their permission. There are a lot of RP sims that are similar already.

PLEASE HELP I would just suggest you look into any possible copyright infringements (I think I did hear that Dune sims were shut down or something... meh, I'm too lazy to look into it). _____________________

I've spent considerable time in ES
 blivion and love it, so I know I would certainly enjoy that. One problem that a lot of RP sims run into that cause them to fail is the owner goes into it with expectations about earning money from it. It *can* be done if a lot of things fall into place, but I wouldn't expect it to happen that way.To avoid any copyright probs, just use similar, but noticibly different names for locations. _____________________

The rules are being tightened up over copyright/trademark infringement - so definitely be careful there.
Do not, whatever you do, use textures etc from the actual game of course. _____________________

Very True with the Copyright stuff,
I wanted to get as close to the Game as i can, I named the SIM Valenwood lol, Guess im gonna change that. I have to redo some of the NC's b/c some of ES-Oblivion stuff was included lol...Thankies for the Help, Still could use more ... |
