Did the Linden Prize idea just...disappear? The winners and finalists are supposed to be released no later than April 30th, and the only thing heard from LL about it was the original release with info on how to submit your creation.

That was the end of last year.

I know myself, and a few others, have put in our information in regards to the Linden Prize. Myself and my good friend Alpin have easily put thousands of hours into our creation, and we're looking forward to seeing if we've made it to the finals, if not (here's hoping) the winners circle. But since it's first announcement, LL have said nothing at all about it.

Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that the $10k purse would be amazing to go towards what we do (we've been not-for-profit all along anyway), I don't think I'd care as much, but I know that we could use some of that for motion capture to better our product.

So, has anyone heard anything at all about the Linden Prize? Lindens, is this still even going?

Yeah, I know, I just didnt expect "at the latest" to reach the point of being "at the latest". 10 days away and we haven't heard a single word about the Linden Prize. Makes you wonder...

Linden Prize?
Why in the world would you want a Linden anyway? I hear they are a bit unresponsive these days.

The taxes you'd have to pay would probably be too much anyway. Better off selling him, maybe for medical experiments.

I'd think the $10k USD that comes with it would be enough for me to bite the bit and take a Linden as an award as well. I just hope we can choose which linden.
