From: Fifafan Schoonhoven Whenever I take a snapshot, it wants to save it to disk as a jpeg. how do I take a pic inworld, and save it as a texture? When you click on "Snapshot", and it opens the box, you should be able to choose "Send as postcard", "Save to Inventory" (or something like that) and "Save to Hard Drive". Choose the middle one. It will cost you 10L each time.

One major advantage of saving snapshots to disk: They retain the aspect ratio and pixel count of the window you had open when the pic was taken. Where in-world saving is always 512 x 512, distorted to square if the window was not square. So saving to disk allows you to crop and re-scale, before importing the ones you want to keep.
