Clothes Won't Load I Am Naked

I justed signed on to SL and I am standing here naked. Every time I put on an outfit (or try to) I get a message saying "Can't change appearance until clothing and shape are loaded" Not sure what that means but I have been waiting with embarrassment in the nude for them to load and they are not, I even logged out and back on again to no avail. How do I clear cache for this? maybe that will help?

Any help will be great. Oh and it does not matter what outfit I try they are all doing the same thing.

It happens often for certain users in certain areas.

If it continues to be a problem, choose a different location or log out and use SLur to pick a different location. If you continue to be naked after waiting for a few minutes, then go into your map, choose an empty area, and fiddle around with your clothing and such.

thanks for your advice but it still does not work. I have tried many locations and logged out many times, but still no clothes. It started like this right from the beginning. I sat down decided to play, logged on and boom no clothes.

How do I clear cache maybe that may help?

On the top menu... Edit > Preferences

Network tab > Click Clear cache button

Log out

When you restart the client it will clear your cache.
