I haven't changed any settings that I can think of, but every time I take a snapshot, it zooms into a corner of the viewing area, and saves them like that. Never seen a problem like this before, anybody know whats up?

I don't know if my info is current or applies to what you said but there has been problem with snapshots not being positioned correctly in the past few months.
If you are are using windows, you might want to get Irfanview. It's a free image processor. You can use it's own screen capture system or do printscreen and paste in into Irfanview.
Then you can work on the image, crop it, work on the colors and contrast, etc.
You can get a plugin that will let you email the shot from Irvanview, which means you can email it straight to photobucket or flickr or wherever.
And you can upload the ropped cleaned up corrected image from your computer to SL for 10 lindens, same as uploading a screenshot directly.

That glitch is just in smaller-than-full-screen for me - have you tried taking full screen shots? I agree that uploading pictures is far better anyway.
