Hi there,

Over the past few days to a week my clothing has taken AGES to rez (nakkie me eeek) or has remained grey to others. I see it fine but other avs see me grey, partially clothed or naked.

I have tried relogging, rebaking, removing whole outfits and replacing them, changing outfits, removing and replacing each item of clothing one at a time. Nothing works!

It is veryyyyyy annoying. Last time this happened to me it turned out to be an sl bug. Anyone having same/similar problems. Anyone know the cause? Anything I can do to fix?

Thanks,
Carmsie

Get some body skin with clothing tattooed onto it.

Just chalk it up to another glitch effect. All you can do is try to keep on doing what you have been and wait for the system to get back in sync. The idea of a body clothing tattoo is an excellent idea as an emergency backup. I know when I went to the Clothing Fair last spring there were couple of free clothing skins offered, to help lower lag and avoid just your sort of problem. They must be out there somewhere now, maybe somebody in RA can give you some suggestions of where to go look?

I noticed this happening with me but try this as it has worked for me lately when I'm in a "rush" to get somewhere.

In my inventory, I actually keep a seperate folder for each "outfit" which includes a copy of my skin and any accessories that will be worn. Now, if I want to "Replace Outfit", and I'm at my home, it sometimes can take up to 5 minutes for a full rezz. Try using "Replace Outfit" and then immediately go to a new place on the map, and everything rezz's on me so much faster.

Not sure why this works but it does for me anyway and may be worth a try.
