I can't update payment method with my verified Paypal Account

I have a Verified Premier Paypal Account but I can't update my billing information with it.
I always have this message:
An error occurred while processing your request.
• You must have a verified PayPal account to continue
And I can't access to the Knowledge base and to the Support.
If someone could explain me what to do in French if possible, it will be grat.

I had tyhe same issue, LL said it was a paypal issue paypal said it was a LL issue, wich it ended up being.
Basicly what I was told is when i use the paypay account in SL to many times they will not allow you to use it again!!!
This of course blows my mind because I only use it for Tarina!!
So basicly they said use a credit card and won't get the paypal going.
I have a few e mails if you would like to see what they said to me.

Bonne chance obtenant n'importe qui pour fixer ceci ! Je les ai eus la même issue, LL a indiqué qu'il était un paypal paypal d'issue dit lui était une issue de LL, qu'il a finie vers le haut d'être. Fondamentalement ce que j'ai été dit est quand j'emploie le compte paypay dans le SL à beaucoup de fois elles ne te permettra pas de l'employer encore ! ! ! Ceci naturellement souffle mon esprit parce que je l'emploie seulement pour Tarina ! ! Tellement fondamental ils ont dit l'utilisation un par la carte de crédit et un won' ; t obtiennent aller paypal. J'ai quelques courrier d'e si vous voudriez voir ce qu'ils ont dit à moi.
I used babel to trans this so I have no idea if it makes sense.

The problem is at LL's end. But Linden Lab refuses to acknowledge that it is their problem.
Accounts that they are perfectly happy to accept and use for numerous avatars are at the same moment denied for use by other avatars belonging to the same real person.
If you get that message, you will have to use a credit card instead of Pay Pal. Linden Lab is very unlikely to fix it at any time soon.

I don't want to use my Credit Card. I have a paypal account because I don't want to let my Credit Card number everywhere.... I wanted to upgrade my SL Account, but If I can't use my Paypal account, I am afraid I'll stop SL.
Thanks for the answers. I don't blame you one bit. This is horrible of them, but I have been slinging this issue with them for over 4 months..... sorry about the translation lol it didn't make sense to me with the very limited french I know. And it's not only about upgrading your account, if you try to put money into your account for buying as well.. Your going to have to give up that CC.. or spend your life camping.. which frankly is no fun. |

US/Canada 800-294-1067 (Gratuit) Ailleurs 703-286-6277 (Non-gratuit) 9hr à 18hr PST, du lundi au vendredi Je crois que si vous n'avez pas de carte-de-crédit reliée à votre compte de banque, vous aurez des difficultés avec Paypal/SL. Vraiment nul, je sais, mais vous n'êtes pas la seule avec ce problème. Je n'utilise pas Paypal, donc je ne peux pas vous aider plus que ça. Bonne Chance

Did you try depositing money into your PayPal account first? Having a balance there plus a linked bank account is another method of verifying, according to the Knowledge Base.

I have a verified commercial PayPal account that ALWAYS has money in it, which has been verified and in good standing for YEARS, and they still won't accept it for a new alt, or for changing over the payment info of an existing alt. They flag you somehow for "no new PayPal from this source", and won't say why, and won't rescind it.  Yet at the same time, any existing PayPal agreements that you already had in place with LL are just fine, and they have no problem with you on those!

Hmmm, it's not the same issue, but I couldn't even get the PayPal option when I had my main and an alt on the same email address...I switched the alt to a different one and was subsequently able to enter the same PayPal info for both. I had to figure this out for myself...Support basically told me, "It should work!" Gee, great, thanks.

The lindens can be REALLY dumb at times lol
Call them up and have them walk through it with you..if it doesnt work ask for a mgr (they arent any brighter) and it that doesnt work keep calling them each day on the 800# and spend LOTS of time talking.
You could also post the problem in the blog to get it noticed more.. might help
