Seeing RED- HELP!

Is it the alpha channels I'm seeing? I must have tweaked a button somewhere, lately I'm seeing lots of red screens or panels that apparently are the carrier for complex textures (some colorful trees) and signs, etc.
I've tried Shift Ctrl- T , etc. but still seeing red. Even shows through some of the walls in my house.

I've gone over my preferences, and studied settings in the client debug menus.

Any help greatly valued.

TX Eclectic, but Ctrl-Alt-T made it worse, it turned my windows red without changing the neighbors' signs, etc.

Uhhh... Cherry- please let me in on the LOL, I missed the humor.

Hi Rmike. Red is either transparencies (yes, alpha channels) or beacons on, for example, scripted objects. You CAN use the shortcuts, or more reliably, turn them on/off via the View menu.

Make sure that "Highlight Transparencies" is unchecked in the View menu (this is the setting that is toggled with ctrl-alt-T). Also, look at everything under "Beacons" and turn them off, particularly the one for scripted objects.

If Highlight Transparent made it worse, turn that back off again and also turn off "Beacons Always On" in the view menu. (or ctrl-n, IIRC)
