Hi All

I have just rented out a skybox which sits at 750m up in the air. There is the box, plus a large square of "land", so effectively the box has a garden. Nice, eh??

Anyway, the land is set to Group, and I only have the Group boxes selected in the options for creating objects, etc, as opposed to all residents. Both I and the tenant double-checked the settings so I am sure it is not me. However, when she is not wearing her Group tab, she can still rez things. There is even the little box with the red circle in the top toolbar which indicates no building/rezzing. I did wonder if it is because she is rezzing prims onto prims, but that wouldn't make any difference, would it?

I also own a plot next door, which is set to the same Group. I can rez things here as well when in a different Group from the one the land is set to.

I know at 750m there probably won't be a lot of passing traffic, but I am a good landlord and want it all to be done right!

Is it me, or is something broken??

Thanks

Joss

Residents in the group will be able to rez objects, no matter what tag they are wearing. However, if you have auto-return on, objects rezzed without the proper group tag will be returned to inventory after the allotted time.

(If you do rez an object while wearing the wrong tag and don't want to take and re-rez it, right click, choose edit, and on the first (Properties?) page of the edit menu, manually change the group from the drop down there.)

Hope that helps.

Hi Joss, it's you. :p This is normal behaviour. "Broken as designed", so to say.

As Nic said. It's less than funny if you get a load of objects returned to your Lost & Found folder because you forgot to change the group tag.
