Classifieds - one big black hole! :(

I wonder, what is this stupid thing called classifieds.... I spended 1500 L$ for listing and nothing. No single teleport to my shop (http://slurl.com/secondlife/AMTS/222/228/25). Maybe if I pay 10 000L$ I will receive one-two clicks? Only the big players can afford to spend too much money for this. What about small shops? Is there some alternative? Maybe is better to rent little shops on popular locations and to place LM giver?
I don't know, but for me Classifieds are one big black hole.
What you think about classifieds? Are they useful for you and if you have some advices, tell me, please

I refused to pay over $101 for an ad since the new search came online. of course, I'm also now closing my rental sim, LOL.

But at least they're not getting any more of my money for something that has little or no value.

Tervel, I'm going to refer you over to this very long thread that's been running since November and is still active. We even had a Linden make comments there yesterday and it's rare to see a Linden in Resident Answers anymore.

There's lots of reading to do but lots of excellent advice on how you may be able to increase your rankings without spending another Linden. It's not all about how much you spend anymore. It's a whole new ballgame. And I hate to tell you this, but it looks like it may soon be a whole new ballgame again...and maybe again...and maybe again...

Do I think so? No. You can always ask, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Besides, there could be other factors. Maybe your wording isn't as good as other ads, or your graphics don't excite people. There's a lot of things it could be. Read through that thread. It should help you.

$50L is all I'll pay, buggered if I can see even getting that back, but other than paying sandichboard people, there's not a lot of choice.

I'm still amazed as I continue to visit the shops that are paying 250000 + their own sim and I see maybe 5 avatars there not buying. Than is see the people with no ad renting a 250/week shop that is packed.

I asked the question and yes, pluged it free in RA, but when not everyone noticed it it's ok and don't disturbing anyone I hope so, if not, excuse me
I tried today to optimize my classifed, but reading this threat (the other one) don't help me so much for now. Maybe some investigation and analyze will help.
I experimented with different keywords, but still nothing. Before 2 weeks i tried with 50L and I had more success.

Try five L$50 adverts with different keywords and see what the results are.

There is a classifieds subgroup of forums. Use them. Otherwise, it is perfectly fine to put in a signature that shows off your stuff. It is in poor taste, however, to create threads in RA under the guise of a question in order to advertise. It was noticed, but not commented on, because we're getting a little tired of having to comment on people who can't restrain themselves. At least I felt that way.
