Corrupt shape

I sell shapes and recently I discovered that one of them was completely borked. When I tried to wear it I got an blue message saying effectively "This is broken; notify the vendor." It wasn't just my "copy" that was broken, it was broken on the server side. So all instances of it in world including those in customers inventories are unusable.

I've had to recreate the shape from scratch. I've replaced it in vending points and contacted all the customers who bought it in the last 30 days. Not much else I can do at this point.

My questions are: Has this happened to anyone else? Is it just shapes that might be effected or anything non-primmy that's wearable? Do I have to have a regular run through my stock to see what SL broke this week?

It was the Madelene shape - a BBW I launched about 2 months ago by the way.

I have clothing wind up with the 'Missing Image,' that was really missing the image on the server side. Drove me crazy until I realized that even the original image that I uploaded was "Missing Image," because I figured I'd see if that might fix it. It was a couple of years ago, though.

This happened to me yesterday, when I tried to wear a shape on my inventory. I use it at least once a day if I'm on SL, so it wasn't something gathering dust on my inventory.

Thanks God it was a self made shape, a variation of my regular shape I use for some non mod prim boots. So no big deal.

I relogged clearing my cache, problem solved.

I use the latest (as of yesterday) RC client.
