Hey peps I was just sent some info on the new Ursula sims. I have done a search on Ursula only to find that people are only asking how to buy lots there all ready lol. Ok when I looked them up on the map I seen only 230 sims. Here is what I would like to know, Now I own a whole region with some freinds. Now ll is going to make use move due to what we host there. Now we have sent into tickets asking if there going to swap whole regions only to get the same old bs of look in the data base if this dose not help you. Dose any know if there going to swap whole regions with us.
If so will they be with out the roads we would like to keep our 15000 prims lol. In the past I owned land where the great wall was so I was told. Only thing that ll owned the parcel. Blocking any one from owning the full sim. I know a lot of people out there are in the same boat as I am and if any one knows any thing on this matter would you post.

Well if you want maximum prims then I guess you get a parcel without roads, asking for a "special" extra prim sim is just likely to be ignored or end up getting you an oddball sim that does wierd stuff.
personally to me 1024m worth of Linden roads means that much less land for neighbours with Zyngo clubs full of campers.

Ursula is already parcelled. The city areas in the west are parcelled in the same way as were Bay City and Nautilus City. The 'countryside' to the East and South will be ordinary land - not double-primmed and with Mainland-style terraforming allowed.

When LL give the 'go', people who think they are eligible for a swap will have to submit a special ticket explaining why and what area they are looking for.
If LL agree that they are eligible for a swap, they will be allowed to visit Ursula and ask for specific parcels(s) to be assigned to them. They should suggest a number of alternatives.
LL are open to some negotiation on recutting of the pre-cut parcels.

It's hard to imagine them refusing to allocate a full sim on the non-double-primmed land to someone who owns a full sim.
If the full sim is not owned by a single entity - a person or a SL group - then this is bound to confuse the poor things. Lard knows how many Lindens will be assigned to dealing with the conflicting claims for specific parcels and what sort of system they have in place to manage the process.

I believe one of the Lindens said it will not be possible to please everyone or give everyone exactly what they had. It was vague enough that it's hard to say whether that means terraforming or square meters or type of topography, or what.

The early part of the Landowner brown bag meeting described LL's thinking on this at the time.
There could be some horse-trading on adjusting the existing parcelling in Ursula.
People could swap to a bit less area or a bit more, depending on how their existing metres lined up with the pre-cut parcels that they wanted to swap into.
Probably obviously (but not stated?), they wouldn't get the same area of double-primmed land. They'd be eligible for half the area.
People could ask for specific parcels but needed to indicate a number of alternatives that they would accept.
Replication of existing terraforming wasn't at all likely as it could give rise to very ugly boundary joins.
No terraforming in the urban areas.

so yur saying that money we paid out to buy our sim is gone and ll is pulling this bs all over again. ll should have looked into the deeper there are sim owners who would have to move. My sim is mixe with sucj things IE bondage, public nudity etc. Unless there going to give me the same amount of space in trade or buy the sim back from us. I guess we will keep it going as is and take the right steps in rl to make sure we do not lose out on what we paid for lol.

That's not what I was trying to say.

Land swapped should be metre for metre in the 'normal' sims of Ursula. Or rather 'close enough' + or - either way if people have odd-sized land in the old mainland.
The only people who might end up with "less land" are those who might opt to swap into the double-primmed land. Those would be opting to swap into the same number of prims.

I don't believe that anyone is going to be short-changed as far as area or prims (their choice) are concerned. People decide which is more important to them:
1. Same square metres of normal land
2. Same number of prims in half the area in double-primmed land separated by Linden land as in Bay and Nautilus cities.

We can't know for sure, but if adult land ends up a tight buyers market, your Ursala land may end up being more valuable in the long run.

Like many here, I very carefully chosen my parcel. I have some borderline mature/adult activities in a mostly residential plot (we have a small private Keep which hosts a BDSM book club discussion group). I have gone back and forth on trying to decide if I will put in for land in Ursula. It is a difficult decision.
