If I buy an item from Xstreet using Lindens, does it just automatically appear in my SL Inventory? Or will I need to download it separately and then save the file in a SL sub-folder?

After making the purchase you are "given" the object you bought, with the familiar blue dialog box telling you someone is giving you something and offering you the chance to accept or discard it.

You should get a delivery in SL of the item... just as if you bought it at a store

You need to be logged in to SL to receive the item.

If you buy it when you are not inworld, you will not receive it.

Not quite.

Any purchases made to XSL sit waiting for you to accept like any other inventory delivered to an offline person.

unless your IMs are capped, or are in "busy" mode.

must have been a glitch then. It happened to me maybe twice that things didn't come when I wasn't logged in.

When I told xstreetsl they did send them a second time.

Because of all of these reasons, I just don't take chances anymore and do not buy anything unless I am logged in to receive it right then.
