Recently I have been having difficulty when on the mainland. As soon as everything has rezzed, it becomes extremely laggy and the graphics card says it's driver has failed. Now this is strange since it doesn't happen on islands, and I've had this same card the whole time, but it only started happening within last week.
Does anyone have any ideas about this?
My Graphics card is Visiontek Radeon x1550 and the driver is 8.360.0.0
Please, this is rather crippling, so any help is appreciated.

256 or 512 version?
I run the X1300 512 myself.

Did this start happening before or after the update, have you been running any programs in addition to SL?

This started happening about a week ago, before that week, I had not played SL for a month, so I'm not sure if it happened before or after the update.
No, I have literally, every program closed using "smartclose."

Please, this is rather crippling, so any help is appreciated. I am glad I am not alone, its been very annoying . Even after the reset (18th) nothing changed. I would fly about a few meters then stop suddenly and start again several meters far ahead !!! It only started last week! Could it be the graphics card ? Or a setting within the preferences ? |

Well I doubt it's the graphics card since I've had the same card for over a year and only now having problems. As far as preferences, I lowered everything, including draw distance, to extreme lows, and it still happened. So apparently it's just... I have no idea. =P
