Ok, please tell me I'm not losing my mind and this happens to others....

I have a homestead sim that when I sign on, the grass texture extends to certain areas.. looks lovely... then if I sign off and come back on later... Its higher up.... it is constantly changing on me and I'm not sure if I am losing my mind or if this is something that happens to all...

advice or meds suggestions welcomed.

Thanks.

Nope, you're not loosing your head...yet. The terrain is assigned randomly to the levels you've setup when changing your terrain textures (or whoever textured it). This is recalculated everytime you login.

This is very annoying when I place nice prim grass over a grassy spot and when I relog its beach!

hehe thanks for the 411

The recalculation only affects areas that are near sea-level. If you raise the affected area a few meters it should stabilize.

But then.....the beach texture goes away!!! I've driven myself nuts about this and finally resigned to just letting it recalculate; everybody on the sim sees it differently anyway as has been proven to me, looking at the exact same spot, one sees it sandy and I see it grassy. Ridiculous......
